To facilitate the handling and fitting of tyres on large mining machines, Magni TH has developed a special type of tyre handler. Let’s find out!

Changing tyres on large mining machines is a delicate operation that requires high capacity, precision and manoeuvrability. Magni has developed an attachment that guarantees maximum efficiency even in these situations, avoiding loss of time and optimising productivity.

Compatible with the HTH range, the ‘Tyre handler 8T’ (ATT-06-006) has a lifting capacity of up to 8 tonnes and allows tyres to be handled with ease. The handler allows a circular movement of 344° (+165°/-179°). The tyre can be rotated 360°, and manoeuvrability is facilitated by a +/- 300 mm side shift system.

Finally, like every Magni attachment, it can rely on the RFID system. Once coupled, the handler is automatically recognised by the machine, which then sets its load diagram on the display.
